Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4), is a behavioral health advocate and social service provider, providing quality, customer oriented services to a diverse consumer base.
Deteriorating facades of two adjacent, existing buildings at the facility in the Uptown neighborhood in Chicago provided an opportunity to renovate the facades in keeping with the character of the organization and surrounding context. A new storefront and roof unifies the two buildings, letting natural light penetrate into the space. Vibrant window display panels, developed in collaboration with graphic designer MC2 Communications include artwork from C4’s art therapy program and serve the purpose of maintaining confidentiality and privacy, while also providing a living demonstration of C4’s role in improving the quality of lives of a variety of clients.
